HomeBuild Advisory is an independent advisor supporting New Zealanders building homes. It was created to bring experienced, unbiased guidance into a process that is often unfamiliar and difficult to navigate for owner-occupiers.

Experience

Our advisors have delivered over 120 homes in the past 15 years, across both private residential projects and large-scale, highly governed developments.

Experience in structured commercial environments — where roles are defined, decisions are disciplined, and value is actively managed — exposed a clear contrast with the one-off home build space, which is often less structured and far more exposed for clients. That contrast is what led to the creation of HomeBuild Advisory.

In private home builds, important decisions are frequently made without professional advise or a clear understanding of their long-term implications.
